"Between stimulus and response there is a space.
In that space lies our freedom."
— Viktor Frankl
Discover Yoga-Satya →Everyday life asks a lot of you: your attention, your energy, your time. Yoga-Satya gives something back — a moment for yourself.
Satya means truth. Not the perfect pose. Not the right answer. But what you feel when you stop struggling — and start breathing.
For children and adults. For beginners and the experienced. Because real change comes from within.
"Come as you are.
Leave stronger."
"There is only one thing to do, and that is to embrace the noise of your outer life with the stillness of your inner life."
The word "yoga" comes from Sanskrit and originally means "to yoke" or "to unite" – like two horses harnessed under a shared yoke. What it describes is the connection between body and mind. The practice emerged thousands of years ago in India, at first focused purely on meditation – the postures served only to allow one to sit still and long.
Today the physical practice is usually in the foreground. But yoga truly takes effect only in the interplay of three elements: movement (asanas), breath (pranayama) and mindfulness. Together they help you get out of your head and back into your own body.
Yoga is not a religion. It asks for no belief, but offers a framework in which everyone can walk their own path.
And the effect is far from imagined: numerous studies confirm that yoga reduces stress, improves sleep and mobility, and can have a positive impact on the mind. Today many health insurers even recognise yoga as a preventive measure.
There are many styles of yoga – from calm and meditative to strong and dynamic. As an old yoga teacher once said: "Anyone who can breathe can practise yoga." The best way to find the style that suits you is simply to try it.
Small groups, mindfully guided – for body and mind.
Classical yoga with a focus on posture, breath and conscious movement. For anyone who wants to unite strength and calm.
Soft and slow. Ideal for arriving, letting go, and for anyone looking for a mindful way in.
Discover movement, breath and imagination through play – so children build a healthy connection with themselves early on.

Founder of Yoga-Satya and a yoga teacher out of passion. My path to yoga began in 2015, prompted by my physiotherapist. What started as a physical practice quickly became something much bigger: a quiet, honest encounter with myself. That is what carries me to this day – and what I want to pass on in my classes.
I teach Hatha and Gentle Yoga for adults as well as children's yoga, and I am currently deepening my knowledge in the 300-hour training at the Yoga Veda School in Lucerne. Along the way I've always been accompanied by thinkers and texts that have shaped me – Patanjali, the Bhagavad Gita, Viktor Frankl, Rainer Maria Rilke. They remind me that yoga reaches far beyond the mat.
For me, Satya – truth – is not the perfect pose, but the honest act of arriving at yourself.
